Revitalizing the style of Occupational Therapy

All about me

Welcome! I’m Tanaesja Milligan—also known as T. Milligan, The Neighborhood Therapist. Originally from the vibrant city of New York, I now proudly serve children and families in Georgia as a licensed occupational therapist. With a background spanning hospital, psychiatric, geriatric, and behavioral health settings—including work with veterans—I’ve gained a wide range of experience. But my passion has always been helping children grow, move, and thrive.

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Utica College, where I built a strong foundation in OT and discovered my calling to work with kids. Fun fact: I also have a history in the boxing ring. I was Georgia’s boxing champion in 2019 and trained with TEAM USA. While I loved the sport, it was the strength, discipline, and resilience it taught me that truly stuck. Now, I use those same principles to support children in becoming their strongest, most confident selves—through movement, play, and connection.
